Helping Your Child Manage Digital Technology

Digital technology can be a tool to support learning, skill development, connection with others and can provide access to help if/when needed. However, excessive use can also impact mental health and well-being. This info sheet was developed to support parents and caregivers in navigating their child’s use of digital technology.

The information in this resource helps parents/ caregivers identify if their child’s screen time use is problematic, provides signs to watch for, strategies and tips to use if digital technology use is problematic and resources to access more information and support.
