My Circle of Support – Student Help-Seeking Resource
Many students would like to speak to someone about their mental health, yet they don’t always know the supports available or how to start the conversation. The My Circle of Support resource is designed to build student familiarity and confidence with help-seeking.
There are two versions of the My Circle of Support resource:
- One for junior students and students in older grades who might benefit from simplified text and the inclusion of visuals. An accompanying educator guide and parent/caregiver communication will be available soon.
- One for students in grades 7 and up that may be used on its own or as part of a wider conversation about help-seeking using MH LIT: Student Mental Health in Action.
These resources are meant to be used flexibly – feel free to choose the one that best meets the needs of the students you are teaching.
