School Mental Health Ontario (SMH-ON) and Youth Wellness Hubs Ontario (YWHO) are expanding the implementation of the PreVenture program.
School Mental Health Ontario (SMH-ON) and Youth Wellness Hubs Ontario (YWHO) are expanding the implementation of the PreVenture program for the 2025-2026 school year and inviting new school boards to express their interest.
The PreVenture program is an evidence-based prevention program with over 20 years of research, that uses brief personality targeted interventions to promote mental health and delay substance use among youth ages 12-18. The program aims to equip youth with tools to achieve their goals, and to develop cognitive behavioral skills to support them to cope with challenges, such as academic stress, peer pressure, interpersonal conflict, and identity development.
YWHO & SMH-ON are formally welcoming school boards to express their interest to participate in the PreVenture program for the 2025-2026 school year, with implementation commencing in March/April 2025.
Audience : Mental health leadership teams
Language : The presentation will be delivered in English. Materials and breakout rooms will be available in English and French.
