Connect Quest: Supporting Student Well-Being Through Connection
Launch event for school and board staff: Learn about the Connect Quest resource to support grades 4-8 student well-being.
In today’s fast-paced and digitally connected world, fostering meaningful connection for young people is more important than ever. Strong connections to self, peers, family, school, and nature can support healthy coping, informed decision-making, and overall well-being.
Join us for an introduction to Connect Quest, our new, student-informed resource, designed to support balanced device use and substance use health through the power of connection. Grounded in research and shaped by student voice, Connect Quest offers ready-to-use activities and practical implementation supports to help students in grades 4-8 build stronger connections to themselves, their peers, their families, their school community, and nature.
During this launch event, participants will: learn why connection is a key protective factor for substance use health and balanced device use explore what’s included in Connect Quest learn how the resource was developed in partnership with students and educators.
discover flexible ways Connect Quest can be implemented in classrooms, student-led initiatives, and school-wide efforts reflect on how Connect Quest aligns with board and school priorities This session is ideal for Board Mental Health Leadership teams, educators, student support staff, system and school administrators, and those supporting student leadership and well-being initiatives.
