A Spark of Art – Virtual Student Art Gallery

Calling all young artists!

Submissions are officially open for “A Spark of Art,” a virtual student art gallery led by the ThriveSMH Equity team.

What kind of art, you ask? Any creative expression that can be exhibited online! This includes, but is not limited to, poetry, visual art, music, and more.

This project should reflect your interpretation or personal reflections of the intersection of mental health and equity, in ways that might inspire others. You can also represent strategies for promoting positive mental health and wellness. Remember that mental health is about flourishing.

This opportunity is open to any student in grades 7-12 attending a publicly funded school in Ontario.

The submission window will be open from February 16 – March 31.

Please email your submission to eigor@smho-smso.ca. For visual pieces, please make sure your image(s) are submitted in high quality, JPG or PNG format. Please provide 2-3 sentences explaining your art piece.
