Balanced Device Use Program: Q & A Session for Student Support Staff


Q&A session for student support staff preparing to deliver or currently delivering the Balanced Device Use Program

School Mental Health Ontario is pleased to offer support to boards implementing the Balanced Device Use program, by facilitating a “Question & Answer” session for student support staff preparing to deliver or currently delivering the program in small groups or classrooms. This session will offer student support staff an opportunity to ask questions related to the program training, materials, facilitation tips, etc. while also engaging in practice exchange with colleagues from other school boards.

April 8, 2026 | 3 - 4 p.m. ET

A duplicate session will be held: April 28, 2026 | 3 - 4 p.m. ET

Audience:

Educators/Student Support Staff : Early childhood Educators, Educational assistants, Educators (all roles), Social service workers, Child & youth counsellors/workers/practitioners, Instructional leads/coordinators/coaches (e.g., Indigenous education, graduation coach, etc.)

Pre-requisite : Must be preparing to, or currently delivering, the Balanced Device Use Program

Language: This session will be delivered in English. Materials, breakout rooms, etc. will be available in French and English.
