Anti-Racism and Mental Health Care (Part 2)
This half-day session will support regulated school mental health professionals in supporting the mental health needs of racialized youth.

This session will support the unique learning involved in supporting the MH needs of students from historically socially marginalized identities.
Part 2 helps to better understand the impact of micro-aggression on the mental health of Black and Indigenous students. Further learning related to anti-oppressive and Anti-racist practice and identity affirming MH support. The goal is to better understand what contributes to the gaps in health disparities and how to address those gaps.
Dr. Amy Gajaria will offer more practical tips for providing mental health services for racialized youth. The half-day session will be a deeper dive into reflective practice and learning.
