The HPE lesson plans are designed to support the development of basic mental health literacy and social-emotional learning skills for grades 1-8.  

Each lesson includes: 

  • A minds on, action, and consolidation task 
  • Cross curricular connections to language and the arts 
  • Optional extension activities 
  • Mentor Texts suggestions
