Encourager les \u00e9l\u00e8ves \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper des relations \u00e0 la fois avec le personnel et les \u00e9l\u00e8ves les mettra sur la voie d\u2019une connectivit\u00e9 accrue \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9cole et cr\u00e9era des occasions d\u2019apprentissage et de perfectionnement des comp\u00e9tences (Bergin et Bergin, 2009; Roorda, et al., 2011; McNeely et Falci, 2004). De plus, le fait de recevoir fr\u00e9quemment des salutations aimables, et des gestes physiques et verbaux amicaux, a une incidence positive sur la politesse, le statut social, la perception de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9, tout en r\u00e9duisant les situations d\u2019agression et d\u2019hostilit\u00e9 (Embry et Biglan, 2008).
