(1 Corinthians 13:7)<\/li>\n<li>For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power and of self-discipline. (2 Timothy 1:7)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>For older students:\n<ul>\n<li>Have students discuss things they do well. Do those things require practice? How much?<\/li>\n<li>Ask them if they dream of being good at something. What does it take to become an expert? How is perseverance a part of becoming an expert?<\/li>\n<li>Ask students to develop ways to encourage others to keep trying.
