Community of Practice: Student Engagement


This is an informal, drop-in space focused on student engagement practice. Attendees will be able to network, share, and learn.

This event is for school and board staff members supporting student engagement initiatives related to mental health promotion, literacy, and wellness in their school communities. Participants will be invited to share their experiences and questions related to the theme of the meeting and will have the opportunity to learn from and engage with their peers.  

Themes are as follows:  

December 17, 2024 - General discussion  

January 16, 2025 - Reaching and recruiting students   

February 20, 2025 - Student engagement in elementary schools  

March 27, 2025 – Sustaining student engagement initiatives

Audience: School board staff supporting student engagement initiatives, including educators and student support staff 

Language: The presentation will be delivered in English. Materials and breakout rooms will be available in English and French.
