Froh, et al., (2008) ont signal\u00e9 que les \u00e9l\u00e8ves qui \u00ab\u00a0comptent les b\u00e9n\u00e9dictions\u00a0\u00bb ont exprim\u00e9 plus de gratitude, d\u2019optimisme, de satisfaction \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9gard de la vie, ainsi qu\u2019une diminution des \u00e9motions n\u00e9gatives et du concept de soi n\u00e9gatif. L\u2019effet a toutefois \u00e9t\u00e9 plus marqu\u00e9 sur le sentiment accru de satisfaction scolaire (Froh, et al., 2008). Toepfer, et al., (2012) ont constat\u00e9 que la r\u00e9daction de lettres de gratitude avait au fil du temps un impact positif sur le bien-\u00eatre de l\u2019auteur et favorisait une diminution de ses sympt\u00f4mes d\u00e9pressifs.
