De nombreux programmes fond\u00e9s sur des donn\u00e9es probantes, con\u00e7us pour accro\u00eetre l\u2019optimisme et r\u00e9duire les sympt\u00f4mes d\u00e9pressifs, proposent des activit\u00e9s qui aident les \u00e9l\u00e8ves \u00e0 \u00ab\u00a0trouver le bon c\u00f4t\u00e9 des choses\u00a0\u00bb en toute situation. Selon les \u00e9tudes, le fait de reconna\u00eetre les actes de gratitude et de les offrir \u00e0 d\u2019autres personnes s\u2019est av\u00e9r\u00e9 b\u00e9n\u00e9fique non seulement \u00e0 la personne qui a fait preuve de gratitude, mais \u00e9galement \u00e0 celle qui en a fait l\u2019objet (Kleinman, et al., 2013).
