Elle facilite \u00e9galement des processus cognitifs tels que la r\u00e9solution de probl\u00e8mes, l\u2019utilisation de strat\u00e9gies d\u2019apprentissage et la tendance \u00e0 assumer la responsabilit\u00e9 de leur propre apprentissage (Garcia, Rodriguez, Gonzalez-Castro, Alvarez-Garcia &amp; Gonzalez-Pienda, 2016). En ce qui concerne les comp\u00e9tences requises pour arriver au point culminant de l\u2019apprentissage, tels qu\u2019\u00e9tudier, les \u00e9l\u00e8ves ayant une forte m\u00e9tacognition sont capables d\u2019identifier leur besoin d\u2019\u00e9tudier, de faire un plan d\u2019\u00e9tude et d\u2019\u00e9valuer leurs strat\u00e9gies d\u2019\u00e9tude.
