Black History Month: Resources to support you in February and beyond

Black History Month is a time for the celebration and recognition of the contributions, histories, and achievements of Black people. It’s an opportunity to examine the impacts of racism and discrimination and recognize the fortitude, resilience, and diversity that exist in Black communities.

To contribute to the celebrations, we have a series of blog posts that will be released this month highlighting the achievements of Black Canadians within our schools. To kick off the month and support you in your learning, we have compiled a list of some of our resources that might help you along your way.

Resources for students

If you identify as a Black youth and are looking for mental health support, check out Black Youth Helpline or Pathways to Care for additional resources.
